Posting Description

PROJECT COORDINATOR, MIT IDE/FUTURETECH, Sloan Initiative on the Digital Econ, helps execute the operational and administrative aspects of the MIT IDE/FutureTech Lab's research projects to ensure that it is a highly innovative and impactful research environment, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of leading researchers and experts across computer science and economics/business; coordinates project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure efficient progress in the MIT IDE/FutureTech Lab's goals; ensures financial, technical and personnel, are deployed according to project plans and goals; and assists in developing strategic plans for the MIT IDE/FutureTech Lab.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of two years of administration, project/program management, or operations experience; experience supervising others and leading projects, programs, or functions; and in-depth understanding of principles and practice of managing a complex organization. PREFERRED: Experience in project management or operations, preferably in research, academic, or technology-oriented environment; and research paper and grant writing experience.
 
Work is primarily on-site in lab.

This is a two year term appointment with full benefits.
