EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE VICE PROVOST FOR THE ARTS (EA), Office of the Provost, will provide high-level administrative support to the Vice Provost for the Arts, overseeing the day-to-day administrative functioning of the Vice Provost’s office, in coordination with the Executive Director for the Arts. This role involves autonomous initiation, organization, and implementation of systems and procedures for project management, report generation, and presentation preparations; planning and managing projects within deadlines and budget constraints; and facilitating activities for meetings.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma or its equivalent; a minimum of seven years of administrative experience directly supporting senior or C-suite leadership; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; advanced-level MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; and meticulous attention to detail. PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with MIT policies and systems such as SAP and Cognos.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week on campus.
