Posting Description

PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (PSR), CONTACT CENTER, is responsible for management of incoming phone calls and inbox messages from patients. This role is often the first point of contact patients and other personnel will have with MITMedical. Will process registration of new patients ensuring accurate insurance eligibility information, scheduling appointments, advising of co-pays, pre-visit process, answer general inquiries, screening callers for triage and coordinate with internal and external service areas.  This position effectively communicates with patients, providers and other service areas and troubleshoots complex patient inquiries.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years of experience such as customer service or administrative role; ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; and effective telephone manner and ability to communicate with patients, clinicians, and other professional staff in pleasant, calming, and diplomatic manner. PREFERRED: Experience in a health care setting.
