POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, The Learning Engineering and Practice (LEAP) Group - Mechanical Engineering, to help lead new manufacturing engineering education projects by carrying out education research, creating impactful instructional content, and crafting engaging blended learning experiences; and take a leadership role in various projects, including the research and development of next-generation manufacturing education.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: PhD in engineering that includes domain-specific expertise in manufacturing, processes or systems preferred; teaching experience in higher education settings in STEM fields; proficiency in evaluating the effectiveness of learning materials; strong track record of working both independently and collaboratively; be organized, able to lead multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment; excellent communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, faculty, and staff; and strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge or ability to learn languages commonly used in engineering (MATLAB, python). PREFERRED: Experience teaching subjects relevant to the curriculum.

This is a one-year term appointment subject to annual renewals.
