Posting Description
POLICY MANAGER, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to contribute to its mission of promoting evidence-informed policy as part of J-PAL’s Leadership & Policy & Communication team, a diverse and integrated group that works together in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the goal of equipping policymakers, researchers, and staff with the necessary knowledge to conduct rigorous impact evaluations. The Policy & Communications Group plays a key role in translating research by J-PAL affiliates into actionable poverty alleviation policies around the world. Staff connect the dots between economics and policy and are passionate about working with organizations to form partnerships for evidence-informed development policy.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: A Master’s degree in economics, public policy, or a closely related field, with coursework in microeconomics, econometrics, and development economics; six or more years of relevant and substantial professional experience, including at least 1 year of experience working in a developing country; and relevant experience gained during schooling may count toward this requirement.
