Posting Description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, POLICY IMPACTS, Economics, to conduct economic analysis on the welfare impacts of government policies; be part of Policy Impacts, an organization co-founded by Professor Hendren that is dedicated to improving the quality of government decision-making by promoting standardization in policy analysis; and work closely with Nathaniel Hendren and a range of collaborators at other universities along with a research team of pre-doctoral fellows based at MIT.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Candidates must have a doctoral degree in economics, education, public policy, political science, computer science, or a related field. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of conducting microeconomic analysis and measuring the welfare impact of government policies using a public economic toolkit.  Candidates must have strong management, communication, and technical skills.

The Postdoctoral Associate will receive a full-time, one-year appointment that is renewable annually. An employment term of at least two years is strongly preferred.

The expected starting salary range is competitive with the market. MIT can sponsor visa for this position.
