Posting Description

PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Office of Innovation and Strategy - MIT Health and Life Sciences Collaborative (MIT HEALS), to join a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to advance innovation in health and life sciences by connecting MIT faculty, researchers, students, and external partners; provide critical operational and administrative support to this growing initiative; manage meetings, events, and collaborative activities; track program budgets and financial transactions; support communications and outreach efforts; organize workshops and research symposia; coordinate interdisciplinary working groups; assist with funding opportunities; maintain the MIT HEALS website and grant listings; process payments, travel reimbursements, and procurement using MIT systems (B2P, Concur, SAP, Atlas); and support pre- and post-award grant administration.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of two years of experience in program coordination or administration, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit environment; and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED: Familiarity with MIT’s administrative systems and a strong interest in health and life sciences. Job #25084-6

This is a full-time position based at MIT’s Cambridge campus with hybrid work flexibility. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required.

There are no supervisory responsibilities.
