Posting Description

PSYCHOLOGIST DBT SPECIALIST, MIT Health, to support the growing need for Dialectical Behavior Therapy services within the student population and report to the Associate Chief of Student Mental Health & Counseling Services; will provide both individual and group DBT-informed treatment, with an emphasis on serving college-aged students; will deliver community outreach and adapt DBT interventions to the needs of a diverse student community. Responsible for participating in training with the opportunity to lead training eventually.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: PhD or PsyD with advanced licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Psychology; three years’ relevant clinical experience, including at least 3 years of direct clinical work or completion of a fellowship in college mental health; strong understanding of university counseling center operations and the developmental needs of college-aged students; demonstrated clinical expertise in at least one of the following areas: trauma, multicultural counseling, acculturation, LGBTQ+ mental health, or eating disorders. Job #24995-9


Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000, final salary determined by MIT’s compensation team based on the skills and experience of the person hired.
