Posting Description

PHYSICIAN, URGENT CARE, MIT Health, provides direct patient care; assesses patient’s health status through interview and physical exam, and synthesizes this clinical information to formulate health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of follow up strategies according to age-specific plans of care; ensures compliance with MIT Health’s Policies as well as State and Federal rules, regulations, and standard of care; and provides health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Health as well as across the MIT Community.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency program with an accredited US institution; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine; current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS); valid MA license, MA CSR and Federal DEA; and clinical experience in urgent or emergent care of adults and children. PREFERRED: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Job #24719-14

Salary range: $230,000- 250,000, final salary determined by MIT’s compensation team based on the skills and experience of the person hired.

Some weekend and holiday hours are required of this position. This position works 12 hour shift and weekends.
