Job Description

PROGRAM ASSOCIATE, MIT Professional Education (PE)-Short Programs, to collaborate with colleagues, program directors, faculty, staff, and vendors in the delivery of world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Responsibilities will include serving as key program contact for stakeholders; organizing and executing program delivery logistics; collecting program information/materials and assuring their publishing and distribution; processing and monitoring financial transactions; communicating with vendors for a wide array of services; handling applications and coordinating enrollee admissions through Salesforce; conducting and collating participant surveys; evaluating, recommending, and implementing operational changes/enhancements for future course deliveries/sessions; participating on cross-functional project teams; and supporting other PE programs as needed.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma; three years’ work experience, preferably in a customer service setting; willingness to learn; attention to detail and accuracy; excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication and presentation skills; discretion with confidential/sensitive matters; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office; and knowledge of CRM systems, cloud-based programs (e.g., Concur, SAP, Quip), and project management tools.  Seek a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who demonstrates a flexible approach to the workload and can perform duties with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment. Must be able to prioritize, track multiple projects and schedules simultaneously, and meet deadlines; interact effectively in-person and on Zoom with faculty, staff, participants, and potential customers/participants; and assess information, make sound judgments, resolve problems, and determine when senior staff need to be involved. PREFERRED: bachelor's degree; experience in executive education and higher education; MIT experience; and familiarity with Salesforce CRM.  Job #24199-5
