Job Description

STEWARDSHIP OPERATIONS ANALYST II, Resource Development, to oversee the Donor Engagement and Stewardship (DES) program operations and plans, leading and executing projects to enhance MIT's ability to recognize and engage donors and steward their funds with a high degree of efficiency and quality.  Will execute department-wide analysis on current systems and design and implements; design and lead a system for auditing the stewardship information and activity of active funds; act as central liaison to other teams for fund information and stewardship operations data needs; and partner with Student Financial Services to support the complex student assignment process for stewarded scholarship funds.  Will also collaborate with stakeholders throughout RD and MIT, identifying and implementing technical solutions; creating documentation of business processes; and developing and delivering training to support stewardship, recognition, and engagement strategies.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree; five years’ related experience, particularly stewardship, research, or information management in advancement; proficiency with enterprise databases and reporting tools, e.g., Advance and FileMaker; excellent analytical, organizational, and written and oral communication skills; discretion with confidential information; attention to detail, accuracy, and continuous quality improvement; and support for MIT’s diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities.  Must be able to collaborate and communicate successfully with a variety of stakeholders; lead change; present information in a clear and cohesive manner, including delivering technical information to non-technical users; and meet challenging and changing deadlines while manage multiple projects/priorities.  PREFERRED:  experience with SQL and other extraction and reporting languages; strong Mac skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OmniGraffle, etc.; and development experience at MIT or another higher education institution.  Job #24195-9
