Job Description

STAFF PLANNER, CAPITAL BUDGETING AND ANALYSIS, Facilities-Capital Budgeting and Analysis, to report to the assistant manager of capital budgeting and analysis and perform a variety of planning activities in the administration of the capital renewal program.  This will include coordinating the collection and updating facility condition data, assisting team members within the capital renewal program with the development of planning and scope for renovation projects, and establishing protocols for data collection and reporting of program performance metrics; and working with internal and external resources to understand and facilitate campus needs and priorities while meeting quality, time, and budget expectations.  

Job Requirements
REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree in planning, project management, engineering, architecture, or an architectural discipline or related field; at least five years of experience in architecture, engineering, planning, project management, or urban design; experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects and fostering teamwork and collaboration; strong interpersonal skills for working successfully with people at all levels of the organization; ability to communicate effectively, give presentations, and work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment; initiative; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and advanced-level computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. PREFERRED:  higher education experience and LEED certification.  Job #24135-8
