Job Description

MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR, Facilities-Repair and Maintenance (R&M), to handle the scheduling of daily/weekly maintenance activities for R&M teams. Will be responsible--with input from supervisors--for receiving, scheduling, and preparing the work to be completed by tradespeople; coordinating maintenance activities and acting as liaison with R&M supervisors, customers, and vendors; accountability for the work order process from receipt to completion; entering information into the CMMS and assigning the work to the schedule for supervisors to allocate based on skill set; prioritizing daily/weekly tasks with R&M teams based upon criticality codes, service levels, and workloads; anticipating and eliminating potential delays; contacting vendors to research and order parts and make service requests; matching invoices against work completed and tracking documentation for billing purposes; maintaining effective communication regarding open work orders, status updates, and expected time of completion; providing weekly compliance reports; implementing shutdown requests; and entering bills of material. May perform equipment field audits and apply ID tags.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years’ maintenance planning and scheduling experience; CMMS experience (SAP preferred); MS Office proficiency; excellent time management, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; and initiative while managing priorities in a flexible, team-oriented environment.  Must be able to act independently to resolve issues, recognizing when to escalate before they are critical; work effectively and form alliances with people at all levels in a demanding environment; and listen to other opinions and incorporate those ideas into work plans.  PREFERRED:  bachelor's degree in facilities management; and an understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.  Job #23365-7
