Job Description

LEAD RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST, MIT Medical, to oversee the functional operations of the Radiology Department to ensure mammography exams and radiologic imaging are completely and meet MIT Medical’s standards and expectations.  Will work closely with the team to communicate effectively with patients and other members of the health care team; provide for the emotional, physical well-being, and safety of patients while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality; and act as the point person for other techs and oversee the daily managing of schedules and office activities.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree in medical technology, biology, or chemistry; ARRT certifications in radiography RT® and mammography RT(M) from a recognized accredited institution; Massachusetts license in radiography/mammography with no constraints; at least four years of experience as a licensed radiology/mammography technologist; detailed knowledge of mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations; ability to learn and master new tasks related to image quality and safety; BLS/CPR certification; and ability to move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.  Must have successfully passed the ARRT exam in mammography.  Job #22982-9

Salary range:  $110,000 - 125,00
