OFFICER, PROSPECTING, Solve, to support Solve’s mission of advancing lasting solutions from tech entrepreneurs to address the world’s most pressing problems. Solve is a marketplace for social impact innovation. Through open innovation Challenges, Solve finds tech-based social entrepreneurs all around the world and brings together MIT’s innovation ecosystem and a community of members to fund and support these entrepreneurs. Will help grow Solve membership and partners base--the organizations and people who fund Solve and collaborate with its innovators, Solve, and each other to advance social impact. Responsibilities include building and optimizing systems and processes for generating and attracting qualified leads, nurturing them, and working with relationship managers to convert them to members and partners; acting as the frontline representative for prospective members; creating, testing, and refining automated and personalized email workflows and campaigns; continuously testing and improving outreach strategies; and measuring and continuously tracking how community activities and communications build Solve’s membership pipeline.
This role is central to helping Solve scale its impact and ideal for a process-oriented and data driven individual who is well-versed in fund-raising, sales, marketing tactics, and automation who wants to bring Solve’s member recruitment to the next level.

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least two years’ work experience in fund-raising, sales, or nonprofit development; self-motivation and a results and data-driven approach to the work; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, team-based environment; excellent communication and presentation skills; and ability to distill data into actionable insights. While the team is currently working entirely remotely, starting this fall, Solve team members will generally be expected to spend some days each week in-person in Cambridge, MA.
