TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, TSAI LAB, Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, to assist with research investigating the relationship between brain rhythms and waste clearance pathways. This project operates at the exciting interface of systems neuroscience and cellular biology. Will perform two-photon imaging in awake mice, assist with single-cell RNA-sequencing, and utilize novel imaging modalities to identify brain circuits involved in Alzheimer’s. The scope, complexity, and independence of participation in research projects will be commensurate with experience. As skills are developed, the position will involve increasing participation in scientific research.
This position would be ideal for someone who is excited about work on the cutting edge of modern neurobiology before applying to graduate school. The Tsai Lab is committed to the intellectual development and career progression of all lab members.
REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, or related field; at least two years of post-degree experience working in a research laboratory environment; and excellent time management skills. Seek a self-motivated and highly organized individual who is comfortable working independently but can function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
