COMMUNICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, Office of Engineering Outreach Programs (OEOP), to contribute to communications strategies and implement communications/marketing activities. Will collaborate with others in OEOP to build awareness of its programs and impacts, stimulate interest and engagement in its programs, and help generate financial support for its activities; create and disseminate content in long- and short-form (written and multimedia) throughout MIT and to a local and national audience; lead and execute a redesign of as well as maintain and update the OEOP website; develop content for and manage social media sites; manage and update contacts database; create and design program- and event-related print materials; design, write, and disseminate OEOP newsletter; support the writing of annual fund-raising appeals and other donor-related and stewardship materials; coordinate with the MIT communications offices and primary MIT channels to promote OEOP stories; and identify external channels for sharing OEOP stories. Multimedia projects include conducting/coordinating photographing/filming of current programs, editing photos/video, and curating content from OEOP’s historical archives.
