HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, MIT Technology Review (MIT TR), to support TR’s growing business. This is a hands-on role focusing on hiring, employee relations, development, and training with an emphasis on supporting MIT TR's day-to-day human resource needs.  Will liaise with MIT to strengthen and develop relationships and keep MIT TR staff connected and informed; manage cost-effective, full-cycle recruitment process; ensure employee job descriptions are current and appropriately classified and that compensation is fair and equitable; on-board staff; work closely with managers, staff, and MIT central HR to handle employee relations situations; conceive and implement training and development activities at the direction of the CEO; maintain all HR transactions and record-keeping; review and forecast salary budgets with the finance team; coordinate the performance management process; supervise the administration of employee benefits; and approve and process support staff and student payroll and track administrative staff vacation time.  Will also provide input to office management functions including processes, space planning, safety, security, archives, parking, filing, and contracts that increase efficiency of operations.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree; five years of HR experience; in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and current HR content, principles, practices, recruitment channels, and trends; ability to effectively handle complex and sensitive employee relations issues; outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills; and initiative.  Seek a flexible problem solver who is able to and prefers working in a highly creative and collaborative environment.  Familiarity with SAP and MIT systems and processes preferred.  Job #16681-P
