MIT MUSEUM/NORD ANGLIA COLLABORATION CURIOSITY CORRESPONDENT, MIT Museum, to create an ongoing series of video segments about research, academics, culture and special events at MIT for an international audience of more than 70,000 school students; and be responsible for video production including topic selection, conducting interviews, accurately translating the science being discussed, editing, and delivering the final product. Duties will include writing scripts; creating all special effects and post production elements; editing video using Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, or comparable software; collaborating to create a highly visible, active social media presence for the MIT Nord Anglia collaboration; supporting the delivery of two academic trips to campus annually and the creation and delivery of three annual academic challenges; developing and maintaining relationships with faculty, staff, and students at MIT and staying informed on research, discoveries, and other STEAM news for the benefit of Nord Anglia students and teachers; and other duties as needed. Will report to the director, MIT Museum/NAE Collaboration and work collaboratively with other colleagues at the MIT Museum.
The MIT Museum is expanding its formal, multi-year agreement with Nord Anglia Education to provide science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) programming to more than fifty Nord Anglia schools worldwide.
