ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A), Finance and Administration, supports all budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities across Campus Services and Stewardship (CSS) and plays a key part in guiding financial strategy and decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial planning, performance tracking, and operational reporting for a complex portfolio of CSS units.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience. The ability to identify opportunities and needed analysis; perform largely autonomously; deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines; juggle multiple projects and priorities; analyze complex/vague problems and/or problems that require information from multiple sources to develop insight and actionable recommendations. To work across a large and complex organization, managing stakeholders with diplomacy, tact and sensitivity; communicate complex analysis and recommendations clearly; to present to senior managers in a compelling, articulate way; and to manage others, including identifying goals and milestones, working with them to enable them to meet expectations, training, and providing feedback. Must have experience using data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) to represent analyses to an executive audience; advanced knowledge of budget management, financial analysis, and financial modeling; working knowledge of accounting principles; excellent communications skills; demonstrated financial knowledge and skills using strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to improve existing reporting and create efficiencies; strong data management and Excel skills, including querying, pivot tables, and extensive formulaic knowledge; experience with SQL, Tableau, Cognos; and willing to dive into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
