RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE, Center for Information Systems Research (CISR), to help a global team of researchers at MIT deliver world-class evidence-based research.  Will provide comprehensive portfolio management for complex quantitative and qualitative research projects; coordinate research collaboration and content production to ensure the smooth delivery of the center’s IP; support the researchers in interview preparation; launch and promote research surveys to attract respondents via social media and email marketing; coordinate the logistics for external community of data professionals from MIT CISR sponsor firms; perform other duties in support of the center as needed, including planning events/meetings, publicity, program registrations, and data entry.

REQUIRED: a minimum of three years experience with project management in a research setting; ability to work independently and as part of a global distributed team; very good organizational skills; solid decision-making skills--without outside help--with regard to routine issues; proficiency with business systems including Microsoft SharePoint and SalesForce; and discretion and good judgment with confidential information and/or sensitive issues. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys the responsibility of driving business results, has a flexible approach to the work, and demonstrates strong communication skills. A bachelor’s degree and experience in academia, management consulting, or market research preferred.  Job #15142-5
