ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Office of Digital Learning (ODL), to provide comprehensive administrative support to four ODL teams.  Will coordinate the daily operations of the working teams, including extensive calendar management, meeting and event coordination, travel coordination, and working closely with a variety of vendors; manage financial transactions--in close collaboration with the financial administrators--on a daily basis, including generating journal vouchers, requisitions, and purchase orders in SAP; create, edit, and proofread presentations, documents, and other ODL materials; perform basic research and information collection for projects and reports as needed; and liaise with other departments within MIT and external clients, communicating effectively with people at all levels.



REQUIRED: at least three years’ relevant experience; excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to anticipate needs, quickly assume responsibility, and work both independently and as part of a team; meticulous attention to detail; ability to digest and summarize complex information; exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with colleagues throughout ODL and MIT as well as external organizations; independent judgment and discretion; and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Seek a self-motivated, flexible, and diplomatic team member who can multitask, set and achieve priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited supervision.  A bachelor’s degree or higher and experience with basic accounting processes preferred.  Knowledge of MIT highly valued.  Job #15121-5
