COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER, SOLVE-LEARNING, MIT Technology Review-Solve, to support the Learning pillar’s community relations senior officer.  Will play a key role in supporting the development of the Solve community. Responsibilities will include handling the recruitment of and relations with exceptional leaders from the private, public, nonprofit, and academic sectors whose expertise and interests align with the pillar; and supporting the design and management of challenges and program events and supporting Solvers through incubation, mentorship, and partnership brokering.  Will also help engage advisors and challenge leaders; work with the community relations senior officer on the programming, planning, and execution of live and virtual events to support Solvers; and source sponsors for and promote Solve events.  

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and build a movement to address the biggest issues of our time.



REQUIRED:  a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in an area relevant to Solve’s Learning pillar; a minimum of three years’ experience, with at least one year managing relationships and partnerships with high level stakeholders; highly developed organizational skills; ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and plan work in an efficient manner to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; flexibility; and ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs.  Experience in a social and/or international education organization preferred.  Job #14926-O
