COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER, MIT Technology Review-Solve, to support the economic prosperity director and play a key role in supporting the community director in developing the Solve community.  Will handle the recruitment of and relations with exceptional leaders from the private, public, no-profit, and academic sectors whose expertise and interests align with the pillar; support the design and management of challenges, program events, and Solvers through incubation, mentorship, and partnership brokering; help engage advisors and challenge leaders; and work with the community director on the programming, planning, and execution of live and virtual events to support Solvers and source sponsors and to promote Solve events.  

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and build a movement to address the biggest issues of our time.

REQUIRED:  a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in an area relevant to economic prosperity; a minimum of three years’ experience, with at least one year of experience managing relationships and partnerships with high level stakeholders; highly developed organizational skills; ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work in an efficient manner to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; flexibility; and ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs.  Experience in a social and/or environmental impact organization preferred.  Job #14923-O
