Posting Description

DIGITAL AND PRINT PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, Strategic Communications and Marketing, plays a key role in creative digital and print production and detailed project coordination, working across the Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) team and within the MIT Alumni Association (MITAA); supports the team’s communications and marketing strategy to advance the MITAA and the Institute in their goals of engaging MIT’s community of alumni and friends; helps ensure high-quality digital and print deliverables, contributes to smooth project workflows, and maintains tools and systems that enable the team’s success.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of one year of communications and project management experience; knowledge of project management software, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with HTML and CSS production, as well as print production and bidding; excellent planning, project management, and scheduling skills; strong aptitude for numbers and analysis; ability to approach problems proactively, with creativity, insight, and resourcefulness; strict attention to detail and accuracy; ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities to meet changing deadlines; excellent interpersonal skills as well as a high degree of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and commitment to quality and customer service; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate where necessary with peers, project team stakeholders, and vendors; solid computer skills, including fluency in Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn Encompass/iModules, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other email, Web or social media protocols as necessary. PREFERRED: Experience in non-profit organizations or creative communications studios; and knowledge of databases and desktop publishing, design, and layout. Job #25115-6

This is a one-year term appointment working 35-hours/week (87.5% effort). This position will be hybrid, with a combination of on-campus and remote work.

Must be able and willing to work occasional evening and weekend hours as requested, including at all-call MITAA events.
