Posting Description

REGISTERED NURSE, STUDENT HEALTH, MIT Health, to provide nursing care and execute clinical programs that improve the well-being and health literacy of the MIT student population; work closely with clinicians and administrators on a wide range of clinical programs to determine the population health needs of MIT students; conduct appropriate programming and provide direct clinical care; work closely with other members of the student health team and is a resource to both internal and external stakeholders to assist in building health literacy so that each student is equipped to make informed healthcare decisions for both themselves and their families; and be a member of the MIT Health Student Health Team acts as a clinical educator and provider of direct patient care.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree; current RN license in Massachusetts; CPR certified; current active BLS certification; a minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics, women’s health, or family medicine ambulatory clinic or private practice setting; fluency with EMR systems, Cerner preferred; and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
