Posting Description

IT PROJECT MANAGER, MIT Credit Union (MITFCU), will lead the design, testing, planning, and implementation of moderately complex technical projects. The primary responsibility will be to work directly with MITFCU leadership as well as various sub-project leaders to coordinate, drive, and track a variety of initiatives and/or projects that support the Credit Union’s strategic objectives by using established tools, philosophies, and methodologies. Projects and initiatives span all business units and often require close monitoring and frequent communication to see each to success. The work will involve implementing small to large complex projects from conception, scope definition, and schedule management through to a project’s completion.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a minimum of five years of experience with technical project implementations; experience managing software projects and implementation development; experience delivering cloud implementations including but not limited to Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and hybrid environments; experience or exposure to software and interface APIs; ability to communicate information, ideas, and concepts to members, employees, and staff completely and concisely in both written and verbal formats; proven organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously; demonstrated track record as a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions; ability to proactively respond to requests and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and reflect the stakeholder’s unique need; ability to accommodate a dynamic environment both onsite and via telecommuting; strong aptitude to learn a large variety of application environments. This hybrid role requires on-site presence. Employees are expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week.
