Posting Description

INDIVIDUAL GIVING OFFICER, Sloan Office of External Relations, to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual prospects with a focus on Sloan Annual Fund gifts of $10,000-$100,000 (unrestricted) and major gifts (restricted) of $250,000-$500,000; conduct regular donor outreach through phone calls, meetings, and visits, aiming for 10+ engagements per month and at least 120 face-to-face (in-person or Zoom) visits annually; and collaborate closely with Annual Giving and Major Gifts teams to ensure effective prospect movement and alignment with broader fundraising strategies.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of two years of experience in a related advancement field, sales, or fundraising role; experience calling and/or meeting with 10+ donors per month; portfolio management experience with high net wealth prospects; familiarity with fundraising management software, such as Advance, Salesforce, or Raisers Edge; and demonstrated capacity to work effectively with potentially large benefactors, including excellent communication and presentation skills. PREFERRED: A minimum of two years cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding $10K-$100K gifts. Job #25057-8

Salary range: $73,490 - $98,283 - $123,075, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. New hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
