Posting Description

RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, Research Administration Services, to oversee the entire limited submissions process across the Institute for all sponsor types, including advertisement, internal review, and selection for all funding levels. This work will be done primarily by leveraging Pivot-RP and InfoReady, including integrating them according to research development best practices and may include use of new AI-driven tools developed at MIT to accelerate the solicitation review stage.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of five years of experience in a higher education or business environment in a role related to research development, proposal preparation and/or research administration; general understanding of Federal Guidelines, Uniform Guidance and other Federal procedures regarding grants and contracts; experience with MS Office, strong experience with Excel, demonstrated knowledge of databases and other systems; and ability to learn and implement changing technologies related to grants and contracts management, including AI-driven tools such as Pivot and InfoReading to manage and automate the limited submission process. PREFERRED: Experience with Kuali Coeus and AI-tools to aid in document review; and experience with non-profit, foundation, international and/or industry sponsors. Job #25046-8
