Posting Description

PROGRAM MANAGER, Civil and Environmental Engineering - Concrete Sustainability Hub (CSHub), to oversee the operations and administration of diverse projects; foster an ecosystem of individual excellence and cross-cutting collaboration within the MIT CSHub team and among the team and sponsors and stakeholders; be responsible for a wide range of activities, spanning administration, finance, compliance, communications, and outreach; manage the ongoing research within the CSHub, coordinating with researchers and projects to track progress and milestones, identify problems and help researchers and PIs to brainstorm conclusions, and develop reports on progress for the Hub sponsors; fundraise to develop new partners to support projects within the CSHub; and create a new initiative to engage with policy-related stakeholders.

 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and a minimum of four years of experience in project management and communication in scientific communities and settings. PREFERRED: PhD and expertise in working with the sustainability and resilience research team. Job #24921-9
