Posting Description

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR, Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE), provides responsive, transparent, and knowledgeable execution of moderately complex human resources (HR) activities in a large interdisciplinary laboratory with a diverse sponsor base and annual expenditures exceeding $70M; coordinates HR activities and advises on HR policies, procedures, and best practices; assists RLE faculty and managers with recruitment, moderately complex employee relations, onboarding, HR policy interpretation and guidance, and personnel record management; produces reports, coordinates events, conducts salary equity reviews, documents procedures and participates in special projects; and processes both academic and non-academic human resources transactions and moderately complex ER issues.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of two years of human resources experience; working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, E-Mail/Calendaring, reporting software tools, and databases; solid verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and customer experience skills; excellent organizational skills with solid attention to detail; ability to prioritize and complete tasks in an environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities; demonstrated ability to deal with confidential issues using discretion and judgment; demonstrated strength in building relationships, both internally and externally; flexible, adaptable, organized and detailed when performing work; ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team; ability to juggle and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment; evidence of creative problem solving including the ability to see issues from a variety of vantage points; demonstrated discretion and diplomacy when dealing with confidential issues; working knowledge of job responsibilities, and HR procedures and practices.
