ADMNINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, GLOBAL PROGRAMS, Sloan Office of Global Programs, to provide essential support to the MIT Sloan Global Programs Assistant Dean and GP Director levels, performing a range of administrative duties in a dynamic, globally-facing environment; manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and handle correspondence for the Assistant Dean; maintain backend databases and CRMs for meetings with faculty, staff, and international visitors, while managing logistics for meetings and events; document updates, respond to internal requests, file maintenance, and provide technology troubleshooting assistance; and support special projects such as website updates, vendor management, and contribute to administrative tasks across the department as needed.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent; a minimum of three years office administrative assistance or related experience; solid attention to detail and discretion with confidential information; excellent English spelling and grammar proof-reading skills; interest in and ability to test and adopt new software tools quickly; ability to multitask effectively and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and work with multiple stakeholders concurrently; communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing; solid interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills; ability to learn quickly and follow processes effectively, improving current processes; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment; organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision; ability to function autonomously in a highly visible position in a fast-paced setting; and solid computer and technical skills, including MS Suite, Adobe Suite, WordPress, Monday.com, Slack, Pipedrive, and the ability to learn new programs quickly. Working Conditions: Move and lift objects weighing up to 30lbs.

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule, in line with departmental guidelines.

Rate of pay: $27.00 - $30.00/hour, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
