Posting Description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC), to design quantum algorithms (with a numerical or analytical characterization of their performance) for solving plasma physics and fusion-relevant problems on fault-tolerant or near-term quantum platforms.  Will work closely with and under the supervision of professors Loureiro and Cappelaro (MIT) and Dr. Hari Krovi (Riverlane) and collaborate and assist the supervision of graduate students involved in the project. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a Ph.D. in directly-relevant areas of quantum information sciences or theoretical plasma physics, preferably with expertise in quantum algorithms for the solution of partial differential equations.   Job #23299
