Posting Description

SENIOR DRUPAL WEB DEVELOPER, Alumni Association Technology Services and Initiatives (TSI), is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining Drupal websites and applications; designing, developing, implementing, and testing user interfaces; estimating project completion times; troubleshooting issues; writing documentation; installing software updates; evaluating patches; and resolving software problems. This role provides an opportunity to join a vibrant, diverse, and talented organization.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or four years of experience with an additional minimum of seven years of relevant programming experience; knowledge of web content management systems and expertise in responsive theme customization; familiarity with Pantheon for Drupal management, object-oriented PHP(5), HTML/CSS, and Ajax development; experience in JavaScript development, source control systems such as GitHub and SVN, and knowledge of Oracle databases and MySQL; Linux/UNIX systems administration skills, including monitoring, backups, and software installation; ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing deadlines, and communicate technical information clearly; understanding of business needs and translating them into solutions; and excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality.
