Posting Description
GRANTS AND FINANCE MANAGER, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) North America, to perform pre and post award grant and financial management activities related to J-PAL North America’s economics research, policy, and training activities; prepare budget and grant reports and provide guidance to the leadership team and project team leads on appropriate spending to meet funder requirements and funding deliverables; support fundraising efforts, providing guidance on funder requirements, preparing budgets, and supporting the submission of funding requests; and manage a Senior Finance Associate, and may manage other Finance & Operations team associates or senior associates as appropriate. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience; an additional minimum of four years of experience with pre and post award grants management and financial administration; robust writing, project management, and problem solving skills; ability to communicate clearly; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; financial skills related to the preparation of and reporting on complex budgets; and technical proficiency with learning and using computer applications, including Excel, Salesforce, Asana and financial planning systems such as SAP.
