Posting Description

RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE 1, Mechanical Engineering, to work in a multidisciplinary group of researchers and staff that support initiatives focused on developing clinically relevant solutions to human diseases. Provides basic laboratory support for researchers and their projects. Responsible for data input and basic lab support functions. Assist with planning, scheduling and conduct of all in-vivo studies along with all related activities; keep accurate health records, project schedules, study data, and results; assists with maintenance of standard operating procedures for in vivo-related activities; assist with summarizing and documenting research results/findings; follows safety standards/procedures.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; desire and commitment to work with animals and learn new techniques/procedures; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work as part of a team; commitment to exceeding quality standards, providing exceptional services, and producing accurate and high-quality work; meticulous attention to detail; practiced documentation skills; and awareness of basic safety issues and how to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree preferred and/or in vivo experience and at least one year of relevant experience. Job #24694-3
