EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CHANCELLOR, Chancellor's Office, to provide high-level and varied administrative duties supporting the Chancellor and the Chancellor's Office; anticipate needs and assist with moving the Office of the Chancellor’s priorities forward; represent the Chancellor to senior stakeholders; work on special projects as needed; and use discretion and judgment to handle confidential issues when they arise.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; at least seven years of administrative experience directly supporting senior or C-suite leadership; ability to interact effectively across all levels and with external clients and stakeholders; solid organizational, time management, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills; advanced-level computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Suite), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Drupal; Ability to work well under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously is essential; and meticulous attention to detail. PREFERRED:  Bachelor’s degree, experience in higher education, and familiarity with MIT policies and systems. Job #24647-8

Rate of pay: $40.00 - 52.00/hour, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. This is a grade 8 position. Details on MIT salary grades are available here: https://hr.mit.edu/managers/pay
