Posting Description

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, CAMPUS SERVICES AND STEWARDSHIP (CSS), will lead the HR function for the Department of Facilities, Office of Campus Planning, Office of Sustainability and the Office of Environment, Health & Safety and serve as a strategic member of the CSS senior leadership team to analyze, plan, develop, direct and implement HR strategies, guidelines, activities, policies, processes and services designed to meet CSS’s organizational goals and priorities.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of relevant HR experience; in-depth understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws; solid knowledge and experience dealing with employee relations, compensation, organizational development, talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, and all other aspects of HR; exceptional leadership and management skills; ability to provide collaborative leadership, generate creative solutions to complex problems, adapt to and work effectively with various individuals or groups in a variety of situations, understand formal and informal organizational structures and relationships, and link long-range visions and concepts to daily work; ability to communicate intentions, ideas and feelings openly and directly, and encourage others to do so as well; ability to demonstrate business acumen and credibility while challenging senior business leaders to ensure organization results; proven success building a program of HR practices to support a diverse organization, and ability to mediate conflict; proven record coaching senior business leaders through influence, creativity and constructive problem solving; solid customer focus and able to develop concise and clear solutions; excellent, organizational, verbal/written communication and presentation skills; and experience with labor relations issues and requirements.
