STUDENT/INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), works with the EECS Alliance Industry Officer and EECS Program Alliance Manager to develop and maintain relationships, as well as to grow initiatives that help connect EECS students with industry partners; and serve as the primary liaison between students and member companies and manage a variety of student-focused programs and events, including the 6A program which allows students to pursue summer internships or a six-month internship working on leading-edge industry projects while simultaneously working towards the completion of their MEng thesis.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience; excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently with self-motivation and to develop and maintain relationships while working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including students, faculty, administrators, and external partners; creative thinking and a willingness to continuously improve the program; initiative and a demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion; experience with logistics coordination of major events and activities, along with problem solving skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. PREFERRED: Knowledge of social media tools, SAP, WebSIS, MIT degree or MIT experience. Job #24572-6
