Posting Description

SENIOR MANAGER, MEMBERSHIP, JAMEEL WORLD EDUCATION LAB (J-WEL), Open Learning, JWEL, provides strategic vision, oversight, and management for all activities of J-WEL that relate to members and J-WEL’s overall membership model; leads membership development; which may include fostering the early stage development of projects; recruits new members, maintains member relationships and monitors member progress; manages the tracking and billing associated with membership; works independently to develop, refine and implement targeted member recruitment model to increase membership leads across all stages of the sales pipeline; manages end-to-end contracting process with incoming members; oversees the design and delivery of activities offered via J-WEL membership; and collaborates with J-WEL team in the execution of in-person and online events providing the member voice and perspective to program agenda design; support outreach and member attendance.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience in development, marketing, alumni affairs, or technology transfer. PREFERRED: graduate degree in education, science, engineering, or a related area. Job #24471-9

Subject to change, work may be performed in a hybrid model of at least two days per week in the office. During key periods, more frequent in-person work may be required.

This role will require periodic international travel for up to, and possibly exceeding, one week at a time.

Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000, final salary determined by MIT’s compensation team based on the skills and experience of the person hired.
