Job Description

SENIOR MANAGER, PROJECT AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), leads a team of Project Managers who partner with stakeholders across the MIT community on a broad range of technology projects; responsible for leading the support of multiple concurrent projects that encompass the entirety of IST’s portfolio to design, facilitate, and implement solutions supporting MIT’s ongoing work as it aligns with the Institute’s mission; and serves as a mentor, and demonstrates flexibility, openness to learning, and the ability to be a team player.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in project management, management information systems, business analysis or another related field; a passion for IT and how technology solutions can be leveraged to solve current business needs; demonstrated experience executing and implementing concurrent complex projects in an IT space; exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to dynamically adapt to multiple shifting priorities, projects, or responsibilities as needed; demonstrated ability to stay calm and diplomatic in high-pressure situations; and serve as a change advocate. PREFERRED: experience managing people. Starting salary range: $150,000 - $190,000
