Job Description

FACULTY PROGRAMS COORDINATOR, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty, will coordinate and perform day-to-day operational duties including developing, implementing, and monitoring project plans for logistics, program events, related meetings, and orientations (virtual, hybrid, and in-person ); contribute to organizational efforts for the operation of existing programs and implementation of new programs; communicate with current and prospective participants in faculty programs, workshops and activities; coordinate with existing staff members to ensure continuous execution of a portfolio of faculty development, mentoring and research skills development programs; coordinate vendors, purchasing materials and supplies; ensure execution with in-person presence at key programs and events; and provide back up support to the Executive Assistant, as needed.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; a minimum of 2 years of administrative or project/program management experience; ability and judgment to prioritize, solve problems, and work independently and as a member of a team; to negotiate with peers and superiors to ensure work completion; self-motivated, professional, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity in a diverse organizational environment; competency with website maintenance and report writing; robust organizational, administrative, and time management skills; excellent written and oral communications at all levels (with senior management, with project staff, with users and stakeholders); confidence in dealing with a wide range of constituencies and audiences; attention to detail; experience maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information; computer expertise and continued interest in maintaining skills: including knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel, and familiarity with ensuring data integrity and accuracy; and familiarity with databases. Hiring salary range: $57,000 - 80,000, based on experience and internal equity.
