Job Description

SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations (OER)-Development, to provide complex and diverse administrative support to the director of philanthropic initiatives, senior director of development, and individual giving officer.  Will work under minimal supervision and initiate intricate administrative tasks, including managing competing calendars; booking domestic and international travel; processing detailed expense reports; distributing meeting briefs and agendas; editing meeting reports and donor lists; and working on ad hoc projects and events.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  high school diploma or its equivalent; five years' administrative experience; excellent time management skills for organizing multiple calendars and projects; ability to anticipate, organize, and manage tight deadlines and changing priorities despite frequent interruptions; excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills; sound judgment with confidential information; ability to interact effectively with multiple constituencies; meticulous attention to detail; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe, and database software and willingness to learn additional programs. PREFERRED: bachelor's degree, experience in development, familiarity with AdvanceWeb from Ellucian, and an interest in higher education and diversity.  Job #24328-6

Rate of pay: $31.00 - 34.00/hour, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.
