Posting Description
COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to join a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Anchored by a network of more than a thousand affiliated researchers at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty. Will contribute to our mission of transforming rigorous research into better policies that reach people most in need.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: A Bachelor’s degree with some coursework in economics (econometrics, statistics, and/or quantitative analysis training is a plus); a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, may be a recent or soon-to-be graduate with related internships, or may have previous experience in communications, research, and/or international development work. PREFERRED: A commitment of three years.

This is a hybrid position based in Cambridge, MA, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Staff are expected to be in the office at least two days per week.
