Posting Description

FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR, Finance and Administration, reporting to the Assistant Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, provides comprehensive financial support within Campus Services and Stewardship; manages a range of financial operations including purchasing, invoice processing, account reconciliation, forecasting, and reporting; ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, monitors adherence to budget, upholds strong internal controls, and delivers responsive service to internal and external stakeholders; and contributes to budget development, variance analysis, and the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred; a minimum of three years relevant financial or administrative experience;  strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment; interact professionally with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work; strong interpersonal and communication skills; discretion in handling confidential information; customer service mindset with the ability to explain financial policies and procedures clearly; and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Word. PREFERRED: Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Coupa, Concur, and Cognos and experience in a higher education or large, complex organization. Job #25047-7
