Posting Description

MEMBER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST 2, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to serve as the first point of contact for members—whether in-branch, online, or through our Contact Center. Will provide exceptional service by delivering accurate information, resolving inquiries, and offering tailored financial solutions via phone, email, and written correspondence in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented, member-first environment. Will require empathy, strong communication skills, a high level of patience, and the ability to lead complex issue resolution with confidence and professionalism. Will be expected to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products and services, with a focus on identifying member needs and effectively cross-selling appropriate solutions.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; three years’ relevant experience; ability to complete and pass all product and services certifications; strong customer service skills, as well as verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have accurate typing skills, mathematical ability; working knowledge of PC’s; familiarity with Microsoft software. Comfortable providing customer service in a virtual environment. Ability to build relationships and strong alliances across the organization while keeping current on changes in technology, electronic and alternative delivery methods. PREFERRED: experience in financial services, cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing. Familiarity with office equipment. Job #24972-5
