ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT IISchwarzman College of Computing – Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning in Health  (JCLINIC), under minimal supervision, will perform complex and diverse clerical, administrative, and financial duties in direct support of the faculty leads and the executive director’s office, including planning, coordination and execution of projects, events and operations as assigned, coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements, processing travel expenses using Concur, anticipating and initiating actions regarding office operations which require knowledge of the Institute and other departments, and serving as initial point of contact for visitors; coordinating meetings, events and presentations.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of three years of administrative, office, or related duties; ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate as part of a team; excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail; creative, organized, results-oriented with office management and advanced computer software skills; proficiency with desktop publishing, database, and web software needed; ability to easily negotiate the Internet; and familiarity with multiplatform operating systems (Macintosh and PC). PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree and MIT experience. Job #24865-5
