Job Description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, The Center for International Studies (CIS), to conduct cutting-edge research on the intersection of AI and social sciences in the international context; develop and apply novel AI or AI enhanced models and/or tools to address frontier global challenges (e.g., climate mitigation / adaptation, inequality reduction, building just societies, conflict resolution); and, to collaborate with faculty and graduate students on joint projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing new projects in an interdisciplinary setting.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: PhD and relevant background in Computer Science, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline with a focus on international studies; robust quantitative skills and AI-relevant expertise; a track-record of innovation; excellent written and oral communication skills; and, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team. Job #24445
