Position Description:
The Department of Biophysics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a faculty appointment in the area of computational biophysics. Appointments at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor rank will be considered.
The successful candidate will complement existing strengths of the Department in biophysical and clinical research, bridging the scales of biological organization from molecules to higher organisms. Applicants interested in the following areas are encouraged to apply: biophysical modeling of biomolecules and their collective behavior, structural and molecular biophysics, understanding biological mechanisms across biological scales from multi-component assemblies to the molecular level, and structure-based drug discovery.

Position Requirements:
Candidates must have a PhD or MD degree and an outstanding record of research accomplishments. The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a strong, independent, and externally funded research program, as well as interdisciplinary research interactions with Basic Science and Clinical Departments, Research Centers, and Institutes across MCW.
