This is an academic position in the Department of Plastic Surgery, which requires a combination of teaching, patient care, and research, as well as administrative activities, that are necessary for the function of the Department. Your practice assignments and the allocation of your efforts may be changed from time to time by the Chair of the Department to meet the health care needs of the patients of MCW’s practice and to meet the missions of MCW for leadership and excellence in education, research, patient care, and community service. You may also be asked to participate at other practice sites at the discretion of the Chair.
You will be expected to do a significant amount of teaching of residents and medical students. This will include participation in the medical student lecture series, active participation in all of the teaching conferences of the Department and participation in the various postgraduate courses conducted by the Department.
You are encouraged to participate in research and other scholarly activities as your time permits.
